Attaching Your Volumes

The Laserfiche Migration Wizard does not physically copy or move the volume data attached to the source repository. The newly created repository expects volume data to be in the same location specified for the source repository. If your repository path has changed, relative paths for volume locations may no longer be valid for the newly created Laserfiche 11 repository. Please use the Laserfiche Administration Console and verify the volume paths. See the Volumes chapter for details on moving volumes in Laserfiche.

If the volume files are not where the repository expects them to be, you will see error messages similar to the following when you attempt to view a document in your new repository:

Failed to load image.
File input/output error. [9004]
