Calculating the Available Licensed Connections

Each Laserfiche Team and United Server is licensed for a particular number of simultaneous full-featured and retrieval connections. You can view the number of connections licensed to a Laserfiche Server from the Laserfiche desktop or Web Administration Console, as well as the number and type of connections in use. You can then calculate the available full-featured or retrieval connections by subtracting the number of licensed connections in use from the full-featured or retrieval connections that have been licensed to the Laserfiche Server.

To calculate the available connections

  1. Start the Laserfiche Administration Console.  
  2. In the console tree, click the desired Laserfiche Server.
  3. Next to Total Full Featured Licenses, note the number of full-featured connections that have been licensed to the Laserfiche Server.
  4. Next to : Full Featured Licenses In Use, note the number of full-featured connections that are currently in use.
  5. Subtract line 3 from line 4. The result is the number of available full-featured connections.
  6. Next to Total Retrieval Licenses, note the number of retrieval connections that have been licensed to the Laserfiche Server.
  7. Next to Retrieval Licenses In Use, note the number of retrieval connections that are currently in use.  
  8. Subtract line 6 from line 7. The result is the number of available retrieval connections.

To calculate the available connections 

  1. Start the Laserfiche Administration Web Console.  
  2. Select the desired Laserfiche Server.
  3. Next to Total Full Featured Licenses, note the number of full-featured connections that have been licensed to the Laserfiche Server.
  4. Next to Full Featured Licenses In Use, Note the number of full-featured connections that are currently in use.
  5. Subtract line 3 from line 4. The result is the number of available full-featured connections.
  6. Next to Total Retrieval Licenses, note the number of retrieval connections that have been licensed to the Laserfiche Server.
  7. Next to Retrieval Licenses In Use, note the number of retrieval connections that are currently in use.  
  8. Subtract line 6 from line 7. The result is the number of available retrieval connections.
