Modifying or Removing a Tag Watermark

Once you have created a tag watermark, you can modify any of its properties, including text and orientation, using the options under the Watermarks tab in the Properties dialog box of that tag. You can also remove a watermark from an existing tag altogether.

Note: Removing a watermark from a tag will not alter the tag's properties in any other way.

To modify or remove a tag watermark

  1. Start the Laserfiche Administration Console.  
  2. In the console tree, expand the appropriate Laserfiche Server.
  3. Select your Laserfiche repository.
  4. If security has been enabled on that repository, log in as any user who has been granted the Manage Tags privilege for the specified repository.
  5. Expand the Metadata Management node.
  6. Select the Tags node.
  7. Right-click on the tag whose watermark you want to modify and select Properties.
  8. In the Properties dialog box, select the Watermark tab and do one of the following:

    • To modify the watermark, change the appropriate text, position, rotation, and size to reflect the new properties.
    • To remove the watermark, delete the text from the Watermark text field.

      Note: When you delete the watermark text, the other remaining options will be disabled (grayed out).

  9. Click OK.

To modify or remove a tag watermark 

  1. Open the web client management page. Sign in as any user who has been granted the Manage Tags privilege for the specified repository.
  2. Select Metadata, thenTags.
  3. Click on the name of the tag whose watermark you want to modify.
  4. Select the Watermark tab and do one of the following:

    • To modify the watermark, change the appropriate text, position, angle, and size to reflect the new properties.
    • To remove the watermark, delete the text from the Text field.
  5. Click OK.
