Installing the Quick Fields Agent Web Administration Console

The Quick Fields Agent Web Administration Console, which is part of the Laserfiche Web Administration console, is used to create schedules for Quick Fields sessions that the Quick Fields Agent Service will run automatically, and view the history of sessions that have already run.

Note: Version 9.1 or higher of the Laserfiche Web Administration Console and later is required in order to access the Quick Fields Agent Web Administration Console.

To install the Quick Fields Agent Web Administration Console

  1. Insert the Laserfiche Quick Fields Installation disk into your computer. A menu displaying installation options should appear. If it does not appear, double-click Autorun.exefrom the root folder of the Quick Fields Installation disc. Alternatively, if you downloaded Quick Fields from the Laserfiche Support Site, double-click Autorun.exe.
  2. Click the Install Laserfiche Web Administration Console option.
  3. In the Language Selection step, select how you want the installation to be displayed. This language setting only affects how the installation is displayed.
  4. The Laserfiche Web Administration Console setup will open and the Welcome step will appear. Click Next to continue.

  5. On the License Agreement step, read the license agreement. Accept it by selecting the I accept the terms in the License Agreement option. Click Next to continue.

  6. On the Custom Setup step, ensure Laserfiche Web Administration Console is selected. You can also select Laserfiche Local Help Files to install the help files locally on your machine. Next to Install directory, select where you want these features installed and click Next.

  7. To begin the installation, click Install.
  8. On the Prerequisites step, click Run to install the necessary components for the Laserfiche Web Administration Console. Once they are all installed, click Next. You may see a message informing you that some of the selected features will cause IIS to be reset. Click OK.
  9. When the program has successfully installed, click Next.
  10. On the Completing the Laserfiche Web Administration Console step, select if you want to view the Readme and click Finish.
