The Quick Fields Agent Service as a Windows User

By default, the Quick Fields Agent Service will be associated with the computer where it is installed, and will have access to other machines on the network according to the settings for that computer. You can instead associate it with a Windows account. This can be helpful for allowing the Quick Fields Agent Service on one computer to run a session that is located on a network drive. You can change the user associated with the service through your Windows controls.

To change the Windows user associated with the Quick Fields Agent Service

  1. Open Services in one of the following ways

    • From the Windows Control Panel, switch to Classic View and open Administrative Tools and Services.
