A record folder may have one or more event dates, depending on it's cutoff instruction. Event dates determine when the record folder will move to the next stage in its life cycle.
A record folder's final event date determines its cutoff eligibility date for Event or Time+Event cutoff instructions. If a record folder has not yet been cutoff and the final event date is changed, the cutoff eligibility date is recalculated to reflect the new final event date.
