Viewing SSL/TLS Certificate Properties

When you connect to your Laserfiche repository with SSL or TLS using the Laserfiche Windows client or Administration Console, you will see a small yellow lock icon in the bottom right of the application's status bar. You can double-click this icon to open a dialog displaying the certificate's properties. This dialog is read-only; it can be used to view the certificate properties for administrative or troubleshooting purposes, but the certificate cannot be changed.

Issued To

Organization: The organization to which the certificate was issued.

Subject information: The fully-qualified domain name of the Server (e.g., servername.domainname.com).

Issued By

Organization: The organization that the certificate was issued by.

Validity

Issued on: The date and time the certificate was issued.

Expires on: The date and time the certificate will expire.

Protocol name: The name of the SSL protocol that will be used with this certificate.

Key size: The encryption key size, in bits, of the session key.

Fingerprint: The unique SSL/TLS fingerprint of the certificate.
