Watermarks

A watermark can be imprinted on images.You can choose to only place a watermark on the first image generated for a particular print job or on every image. You can also choose different image files for portrait and landscape pages.

Note: The only supported image formats are TIFF, BMP, and JPEG.

To imprint watermarks by default

  1. Do one of the following:
  2. Click the Watermark tab.
  3. Select the Print watermark check box.
  4. To only place a watermark on the first page, check the Add watermark to the first page only option; clear the checkbox to place a watermark on all pages.
  5. Select the Unique watermark on the first page option, to specify two watermark images. The image selected under First page will only be printed on the first page, while the image selected under Other pages will be printed on the remaining pages
  6. Do the following for both Portrait pages and Landscape pages sections.
    1. For Watermark image file, enter or browse to select the path to the image file to be used as a watermark. Remember that in the Browse dialog box, only the type of files selected under Files of type will be displayed.
    2. For Position, determine how the watermark will be placed on images.
    3. For Brightness, select the opacity of the watermark. Higher values will make the watermark more visible; lower values will be less visible.
  7. Click OK to save your changes.
