Configure the following settings to determine what types of passwords can be used to authenticate through Directory Server.
Minimum number of character sets: Specify how many different types of characters a valid password must contain. The available characters types are defined below.
- English uppercase letters (i.e., A - Z)
- English lowercase letters (i.e., a - z)
- Numbers (i.e., 0 - 9)
- Non-alphanumeric characters (e.g., !, @, $, etc.)
Minimum password length: Select this option to enforce a length requirement.
- Minimum password length: The minimum number of characters a valid password must contain.
Reject passwords containing the user name: Select this option to prevent users from including their user name as a part of a new password.
