Quick Fields

You can sign-in to Quick Fields using the Sign In or LFDS tab in the Login dialog box: 

1. LFDS tab: Clicking the LFDS tab will lead you to your organization's sign-in page, where you may see the following options: 
   • User Account Authentication: Enter the User name and Password for a Laserfiche user from Directory Server. Click Sign In.
     
   • Windows Authentication: Click Windows Authentication to sign-in using your Windows credentials.
     
   • SAML Authentication: Click SAML Authentication to go to your configured identity provider's sign-in page.
     

     Note: Once you sign-in using SAML authentication, your credentials are cached for the next 8 hours. This allows for a seamless SSO experience across all Laserfiche applications.

2. Sign In tab: 
   
   • In the Login dialog box, you may sign in to the repository using:
     • Windows authentication:  This option uses your Laserfiche Server authentication configuration. Enter your Windows credentials to sign-in.
     • User account: This option uses your Laserfiche Server authentication configuration. Enter a username and password to sign-in.
