Camera Document Mode: Auto-Capture

Within the Laserfiche app, you can choose to capture documents with Document mode, which includes the new auto-capture feature. Auto-capture detects the document’s frame and the optimal distance to the document for a perfect picture. Once done, the camera will take the picture automatically without you pressing a button

Camera Photo Mode: Front-facing Camera

You can also choose Photo mode when using the Laserfiche app to capture pictures using the front-facing camera. This may be useful if you need to attach a picture of yourself to a form.

Windows App Availability

The Windows app is now available for download from the Microsoft Windows App Store, Business Store, and Education Store.

Laserfiche Mobile Server

Authentication Improvements

• The Laserfiche Mobile Server will no longer be used to authenticate to a Forms Server. The app will sign in to Forms directly. This makes configuring the Laserfiche Mobile Server in a DMZ much simpler. Administrators provide the STS URL which will tell the app the Forms address to use.
• When the Laserfiche Forms Server and the Laserfiche Server have mixed authentication configurations (i.e., SSO Forms and Non-SSO Repository), users will be required to authenticate to the Laserfiche Forms Server and the Laserfiche Server separately when signing into the app.
