Offline Searching

You can search for documents and forms that have been saved offline.

iOS Device

1. Access the device's Spotlight search by swiping down on the home screen.
2. In the search bar at the top, you can search by:
   • Document name
   • Document text (first 500 characters)
   • Folder name
   • Form name
   • Process name
   • Task name
   • Form and task field values
3. Select the item in the search results and the offline item will open in Laserfiche.

Note: If forms, tasks, or processes have been saved offline but not modified, you will only be able to search them by name. Once modified (i.e., edit a form field value) and saved, you will be able to search for them by form content (i.e., field value).

Note: The Spotlight search requires iOS 9 or later and does not support searching offline Laserfiche items on iPhone 4S, iPad2, iPad (3rd generation), iPad mini, or iPad touch (5th generation).
