Import Web Client Configuration
- This option on the Laserfiche App Server Configuration Page lets you import repositories, authentication settings, and Laserfiche Directory Server settings from the web client.
Generate link to open and auto populate the app Sign-in page
- This option on the Laserfiche App Server Configuration Page lets you easily create a URL that can be sent to users that will open and auto populate the repository and Forms server on the app Sign-in page, making it easier to sign in.
PDF Compression
- The Enable PDF Compression option on the Configuration page controls if an imaged document or PDF is compressed when downloaded locally or shared to another application.

Laserfiche App Scanning
- Laserfiche App Scanning is an application that lets users easily scan paper documents into Laserfiche using the Laserfiche App for Windows desktop.
Forms
- Automatic Download: Forms and tasks can now be automatically saved locally to the mobile device when the app connects to the Forms server. The Save form locally on the Laserfiche app device option must be enabled in Laserfiche Forms.

Local Database Lookup: If a form field has been configured as a lookup field, the lookup values for that field will be available when the form or task has been saved locally.
Name Changes
- The term Offline has been changed to Local.
- Fill Out Form in the main menu has been changed to Start Process.
- Tasks in the main menu has been changed to My Tasks.
- Drafts in the main menu has been changed to My Drafts.
Menu Reorganization
- Local forms are now accessible in their own section under Local Copies in the main menu, along with the new local tasks.
Open in Map Application
- If there is a geolocation or address field on your form, you can press Open in map application under either field to open the device's map application to display the geo location or address on the map.
PDF Compression
- When sharing a TIFF image as a PDF, you now have the option to compress and preview it before sharing it.
Upload Briefcases
- You can upload Laserfiche briefcases from external applications into Laserfiche using the Laserfiche iOS, Android, and Window app (for phone and tablet). You can upload briefcases stored on your local machine using the Windows app for desktop computers.
Downloading Briefcases
- You can download documents and folders as a Laserfiche briefcase using the Laserfiche app.
Barcode
- You can now use a barcode scanner to scan barcode values into a search box, form field value, or field value.
- Barcode Types Supported: Aztec, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, EAN13, EAN8, PDF417, QR, UPC-E
Note: The Accept barcode scan option must be selected in Laserfiche Forms for the barcode button to be available on form fields.
Search Improvements
- Searching performance has been improved to return search results faster.
Metadata
- Working with metadata in the Laserfiche app is faster and now supports field groups and the ability to populate fields with tokens using a token picker. Three new tokens, unique to the Laserfiche app, have also been added:
- Geo Location: The GPS coordinates of the user's location when adding this token to a field.
- Device Name: The type of device being used to access the Laserfiche app. For example, iPhone 6 will be displayed if you edit the field using an iPhone 6.
- Operating System: The operating system of the device used to access the Laserfiche app. For example, iOS 10.0.2 will be displayed when using an iPhone 6 that has been updated to iOS 10.0.2.
Annotations
- Sticky notes, stamps, and the freehand annotation can now be added to a document and modified within the iOS and Android Laserfiche app. Sticky notes and stamps can be added and modified using the Laserfiche app for Windows.
Digital Signatures
- You can now sign documents securely with digital signatures using the Laserfiche app.
Support for Multi-Value Field Groups
- The new multi-value field groups in Laserfiche 10.2 are supported in the Laserfiche app.
Settings
- Clear unused lookup tables: This new option will remove unused lookup tables if they were downloaded locally with their corresponding tasks or forms.
- Automatically remove outdated local forms and tasks: This new option controls if local forms or tasks whose online counterparts have been modified should be removed from the app.
