Name Conflicts in Microsoft Outlook
Note: You can set a default way to handle name conflicts in the Options dialog of the Laserfiche Windows client. See New Documents: Name Conflicts for more information. This option is also available through
- Add as a new version: The Outlook file will be added to the version history of the existing document with the same name in the repository, as the latest version of that document.
- Add as a new document: The Outlook file will be added with a modified name. By default, Laserfiche will append the number (2) to the end of the document name.
- Overwrite existing document: The Outlook file will replace the existing document of the same name.
