Searching by Cutoff or Cutoff Eligibility

A search can be performed to return record folders or records that have already been cutoff, have a certain type of cutoff, or specific cutoff instructions. A search can also be performed by the cutoff eligibility date for a record folder, which will return all record folders currently eligible for cutoff as of a specified date. Or, search by cutoff using advanced search syntax.

There are three types of cutoff searches:

Note: The Cutoff search type will return record folders as well as records, even if the folder itself does not match your search. This allows you to quickly process all eligible records within a record folder. Similarly, Cutoff Instruction and Cutoff Instruction Type searches will return record series

Tip: In the Cutoff search type, you can set the Due for Cutoff Before option to "today" to search for all record folders and records that are currently ready for cutoff. Essentially, this will return a "report" of all records that require action.
