Installing Laserfiche Scanning with the Laserfiche web client

The first time you scan to Laserfiche from a particular computer using the Laserfiche web client, you will be prompted to install Laserfiche Scanning. This will save a file to your computer, which you can run to perform the installation. Once you have installed Laserfiche Scanning, you may be prompted to restart your computer. If you do not need to restart your computer, you will need to close and re-open your browser and then click the Scan icon again to begin scanning.

When you attempt to scan from the Laserfiche web client for the first time after installing Laserfiche Scanning, you will receive a warning message asking you to verify that a valid web service is launching Laserfiche Scanning. Verify that the displayed URL is the correct URL for your the Laserfiche web client instance. The Laserfiche web client will remember your choice for the displayed URL and will not display this warning message the next time you load Laserfiche Scanning.
