Link Group Comments Search Syntax
Advanced search syntax can be used to search for a particular word or phrase in the link group comments assigned to documents. All advanced search types can be customized with advanced search operators and wildcards.
- {LF:LinkGroupComment~="Value"}
Value is the word or phrase in the comments that you want to search for. (To search for a phrase, enclose the phrase in single quotes within the double quotes of the syntax.)
The following sample search will find all documents whose link group comment contains the word "Draft", using indexed search.
- {LF:LinkGroupComment~="Draft"}
The following sample search will find all documents whose link group comment contains the phrase "Needs review", using indexed search (note that, as this is a phrase search, the phrase has been enclosed in single quotes within the standard double quotes).
- {LF:LinkGroupComment~="'Needs review'"}
The following sample search will find all documents whose link group comment is the word "Draft" exactly, using non-indexed search.
- {LF:LinkGroupComment="Draft"}
