Comments Search

The Comments search enables users to search for documents by words or phrases in their tag, link group, annotation, and/or version comments.

To search for text inside a comment

1. In the Search Pane, click Select a search type and select Comments from the menu. If it is not in the menu, click More... to open the Search Attributes dialog box to add it. You can also click More... next to Select a search type.

   Note: By default, the Comments search is in the Select a search type menu.

2. Type the word or phrase you want to search for in the text box and select the checkboxes next to the specific items you want to search through (Tag, Link Groups, Annotation, Versions).
3. Click Search.
