Configuring License Information

  • If you are using Laserfiche Avante or Laserfiche Rio, you do not need licenses for Workflow.
  • If you are using a Team or United Laserfiche Server, you will need a Workflow Server license that matches the serial in the Laserfiche Server license.

To add a license for Team or United Servers

  1. Open the Repository Manager dialog box, by selecting Not Configured or Configured next to Monitor Repositories in the Workflow Configuration Manager or by selecting the Repositories node in the Workflow Administration Console and clicking Properties.
  2. In the Repository Manager, click Add to configure a license while you add a repository or click Edit to configure a license for a repository already listed in this manager.
  3. In the ClosedRegister Repository dialog box, click Licenses.

  4. The ClosedWorkflow License Manager dialog box will open. Click Import.

  5. In the ClosedAdd Workflow License dialog box
    • Select License file (.licx) if you have an actual license file to provide, and click Browse to navigate to the license.
    • Select Online (Activation Key) if you have an activation key, and type the number in the text box.
    • Important: Be sure to provide your 25-digit activation key, not your 16-digit serial number. The serial number will not work for activating your product.

  6. Click OK.
  7. The Workflow tab shows details about the license and the Products tab allows you to choose a product to view its license and its license's properties.
  8. Optional: You can also Delete a license, or Disable/Enable a license from this dialog box.
  9. Click Close.
