    • Webtools Agent: Install this component to make use of single sign on with Laserfiche Connector. This reduces the number of times users will need to sign in when using Laserfiche Connector.
  6. Specify the desired install directory on this page. Click the Disk Usage button to see how much space is available on the specified disk and how much space the Laserfiche Connector installation requires to ensure you have enough space to install the product.
  7. If you are installing the Profile Creator, you need to activate the product. Laserfiche Connector (without the Profile Creator) can be installed without a license. If one or more of the items on the list has a red X next to it, install that item and then click Retry. Click Next.
  10. Important: Bypassing prerequisites may cause Laserfiche Connector to function incorrectly and is not recommended.
  11. When the installation is complete, click Next.
  12. Clear the Open Laserfiche Connector Configuration checkbox if you don't want to open the Configuration dialog box when you're finished with the installation.

Updating Profiles from Previous Versions

If you were running Laserfiche Connector 10.0 or earlier, it's recommended that you run the Profile Converter to update your profiles to the latest version. Profiles that are not updated will load slowly. Before running the Profile Converter, ensure you've upgraded Laserfiche Connector to the latest version on all the machines using the profiles.

Note: Profiles created in Laserfiche Connector version 10.2 do not need to be updated.

To run the Profile Converter

  1. Navigate to the Laserfiche Connector install directory. E.g., C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\LFConnector
  2. Open the LFC.ProfileConverter.exe application.
  3. Select the checkboxes next to the folders that contain the profiles you want to convert. If you configured a custom location to store your profiles, select Custom folder and browse to the folder.
  4. Click Convert.
