Laserfiche Product Specifications

This section lists the supported operating systems and database engines for Laserfiche products.

  • Operating system:

    • Windows Server 2025

  • Database engine:

    • Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 2
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2017
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2019
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2022

      • Note: Express editions of the above Microsoft SQL Server versions are supported, but are only suitable for repositories of fewer than one million pages and five or fewer simultaneously-connected users. Larger or more frequently-accessed repositories will see significant performance issues when using Microsoft SQL Server Express.

    • Laserfiche supports Amazon RDS for SQL Server running a supported version of SQL Server
    • Laserfiche supports Azure SQL Managed Instance
    • Laserfiche supports Azure SQL Database, with the constraint that External Tables for Dynamic Fields in Laserfiche repositories must be created within the repository database itself since Azure SQL Database does not currently fully support cross-database queries

  • Web browsers:

    • Recent versions of Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox
    • Safari on Mac OS and iOS are supported for interacting with the repository and filling out forms.
