Monitoring your Laserfiche Environment
The Laserfiche Administration Hub provides a central location to see all Laserfiche servers and installed applications. From a central view, you can keep your system up-to-date and up and running. From the Administration Hub, it’s easy to see all your machine where Laserfiche software is installed, basic information about those machines such as operating system and disk space, and details on which Laserfiche applications are installed and their exact version number. The server view also shows the status of each application, including when applications are not reachable or when a machine is licensed by Laserfiche Directory Server but the software is not detected.
Within each server, you can choose individual applications quickly navigate to the administration or configuration page and see additional details such as if there are any pending updates.
Additionally, a centralized log viewer collects information from all applications for easy troubleshooting and coordination with support engineers.

Initial Installation and Configuration
The Laserfiche 12 installation package contains 2 separate installations that comprise the Administration Hub:
- Administration Hub: Installs the Administration Hub Agent Controller service, the Administration Hub IIS Configuration website, and the Administration Hub IIS website.
- Administration Hub Agent: Installs the Administration Hub Agent service.
Administration Hub
The default installation path is C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\AdminHub.
- The installation automatically launches the Administration Hub Configuration Utility.
- Verify the fully qualified domain name of the machine.
- Select an encryption certificate that is trusted by all Administration Hub Agent machines. Communication between the Administration Hub Controller and Administration Hub Agent machines occur over port 7055.
- Open the Administration Hub Configuration page. By default, the address will look similar to: https://samplehostname.sampledomain.com/AdminHubConfig/
- On the Connection page, specify the location of your Directory Server and provide user credentials for accessing the Directory Server. The specified user must have the View site security right in Directory Server.
Administration Hub Agent Installation
The default installation path is C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\AdminHub\Agent.
- The installation automatically launches the Administration Hub Agent Configuration Utility.
- Verify the fully qualified domain name to the machine hosting the Administration Hub Controller service.
- Select an optional validation certificate.
Viewing Your System Diagram
Click on the Diagram page for a birds-eye view of your Laserfiche system. See at a glance which applications are installed on which servers and how each component is connected.
Select an item on a server and view its connections to other items on the diagram.
