Configuring SSL
Configuring SSL Between the Laserfiche Mobile Server and the Laserfiche Server
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is a cryptographic protocol used to encrypt and secure communications. You can configure SSL between the Laserfiche Mobile Server and the Laserfiche Server to provide extra security for information sent between the two.
Selecting this option on the Laserfiche Mobile Server Configuration page will enable the Laserfiche Mobile Server to connect to the Laserfiche Server using an SSL connection if SSL has been configured on the Laserfiche Server.
To configure SSL on the Laserfiche Server, see the Requirements for Using SSL/TLS with Laserfiche topic in the Laserfiche Administration guide.
Note: This is the not the same as configuring SSL between the Laserfiche Mobile Server and the internet browser.
