Installing Cloud Import Services

Import services allow users to import documents directly from OneDrive for Business, OneDrive, or Google Drive when using the web client or Laserfiche app.

Cloud Import Services must be installed on the same computer as the Laserfiche web client server or Laserfiche Mobile server with which it will be used. If you want to use Cloud Import Server with multiple web client or Laserfiche app installations, you can install Cloud Import Services multiple times.

To install the Cloud Import Services

  1. In the Language Selection step, select how you want the installation displayed. This language setting only affects the installation.
  2. In the Welcome step, click Next.
  3. In the License Agreement step, read the license agreement and select I accept the terms in the License Agreement if you agree to the terms of the license agreement. Click Next to continue.
  4. In the Custom Setup step, specify a new installation location if desired, and click Next.
  5. In the Laserfiche Service Settings step, specify the account that Cloud Import Services will run as. In most cases, you can leave this set to the default (ApplicationPoolIdentity).
  6. In the Ready to Install step, click Install to start the installation process.
  7. In the Prerequisites step, the Laserfiche Mobile server installation will verify that you are using a supported operating system, will detect the IIS, IIS ASP.NET 4.5, and IIS Static Content features and enable them if they are currently disabled. In addition, it will install .NET Framework 4.6 if it is not already installed on the Mobile Server. Click Run to begin the check. Click Next to continue.
  8. The installation process will run, displaying the product or feature currently being installed and the status of the installation. When the installation is complete, click Next to continue.
  9. When the installation process is complete, click Finish to exit the installation wizard.

Once you have installed Cloud Import Services, you will need to link your repository to the relevant cloud servers. You can do so on the configuration page for Laserfiche web client or Laserfiche Mobile server.
