System and Software Requirements

Minimum System Requirements for the Laserfiche Mobile Server

If image processing is enabled, it is recommended that the Laserfiche Mobile Server be installed on a machine with a minimum of two cores and should not be installed on the machine that also hosts the Laserfiche Server or database.

The Laserfiche 11 Mobile Server supports English, Spanish, French, Portuguese (Brazilian), Chinese simplified and Chinese Traditional.

The Laserfiche 11 app supports English, Spanish, French, Portuguese (Brazilian), Chinese simplified. and Chinese Traditional.

  • CPU:64-bit or Dual-core processor
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM

Windows Store App System Requirements (desktop and tablet)

  • Windows 10 April 2018 Update (build 1803) or later
  • Recommended 512 MB memory

Laserfiche Software Requirements

You must have one of the following configurations:

  • Laserfiche Rio 10 or later
  • Laserfiche Avante 10 or later and Laserfiche Forms 10.4.5 or later
  • Laserfiche Avante 10 or later and Web Access 10.4.2 or later
  • Laserfiche Avante 10 or later

Compatibility and Upgrades

  • Laserfiche Mobile Server 11 can be installed on 64-bit machines. It is not supported on 32-bit machines.
  • Laserfiche Mobile Server 11 can be upgraded from the Laserfiche Mobile Add-on for Web Access versions 8.3.2-9.1.1, Laserfiche Mobile Server 9.2.0-10, the Laserfiche App Server 10.1-10.2, Laserfiche Mobile Server 10.2.1, and Laserfiche Mobile Server 10.4.x
  • Laserfiche Directory Server 10.4 and later is required if you are using the Laserfiche Mobile Server 10.4.1 and later.
  • Laserfiche Mobile Server 11 must be installed for users to receive Apple push notifications.

Optional:

  • You need Laserfiche Forms 10 or later to interact with teams in Forms.
  • You need Laserfiche Forms 10.1 or later to interact with offline forms, tasks, and notifications in Forms.
  • You need Laserfiche Forms 10.2 or later for offline tasks to be saved automatically to your device.
  • You need Laserfiche Forms 10.3 or later for offline task and forms drafts to be saved automatically to your device.
  • You need Laserfiche Forms 10.3.1 or later for online task and forms drafts to be saved automatically to your device.
  • You need Laserfiche Forms 10.4 or later to open tasks directly in the app through email notifications and allow bulk task approvals.
  • You need Laserfiche Forms 11 or later to interact with forms created using the modern form designer.

If you do not have Laserfiche Forms, you will still be able to use the app, but you will not be able to perform forms actions. You can also use the app to only review and submit forms. You are not required to connect to a repository.

Note: Laserfiche 11 and later is required for full functionality. Version 10 or later of the Laserfiche Server, Laserfiche Directory Server, and Laserfiche Forms is required to use Laserfiche Directory Server's single sign-on functionality.
