Generic Errors (500 – 599)

You may encounter one of the following general Forms errors. For more information, try the following on the computer where the error occurred:

  • Laserfiche Forms 9.2.1 or earlier: Go to the Windows Logs > Application Event Log in the Windows Event Viewer.
  • Laserfiche Forms 10 or later: Go to the Applications and Services Logs > LFForms Event Log in the Windows Event Viewer.

 

Generic Error Codes
Status Code Error Message
500 Laserfiche Forms encountered an internal error. Please try again.
501 Forms cannot connect to the Laserfiche Routing Service because the service is not running.
502 An unexpected error has occurred.
503 Unauthorized Ajax call
504 An error occurred while attempting to query Active Directory. Please check that the Active Directory domain controller specified in Forms Configuration is correct, and then try again.
505 Database Context is null.
506 The page you are trying to view has timed out. Please reload the page.
507 Your submission was not processed because the Laserfiche Forms Routing Service is currently unavailable. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.
508 The instance cannot be deleted. This may be because the instance cannot be found, is still in progress, or has already been deleted.
