Laserfiche Default Network Ports

This topic lists the default network ports for Laserfiche products and components. It also includes a section on ports used to communicate with non-Laserfiche services.

Most of these ports can be changed in the products' administration consoles or configuration files.

Note: Unless otherwise noted, the ports listed apply to version 12 products and components. For older versions of products and components, refer to the whitepaper Default Network Ports for Laserfiche Products.

Administration Hub

  • 7055 for communication between the Administration Hub Controller and Administration Hub Agent machines.

Audit Trail

Version 11

  • 5081 for Laserfiche Audit Trail Importing Service
  • 5082 for Laserfiche Audit Trail Reporting Service
  • 5085 for Laserfiche Audit Trail Event Hub Service (Update 4 or newer)
  • 443 (IIS HTTPS port) for the reporting and administration website
  • 10256 for the queue port in Laserfiche Audit Trail Event Hub to receive audit events (Update 4 or newer)

Connector

Version 11

When connecting with a third-party browser-based application, Connecter uses the following ports by default:

  • Chrome: 9222
  • Firefox: 6000
  • Edge: 9322

Directory Server

  • 5048, 5049 for HTTPS with the service
  • 443 (IIS HTTPS port) for the administration website
  • 5055 for licensing notifications to Laserfiche Server
  • WMI Ports for looking up host IDs and fingerprints. Please see Microsoft’s documentation on securing remote WMI connections.

Email Archive

  • When using IMAP, Laserfiche Email Archive automatically ensures port 25 is open between Laserfiche Email Archive and your email server.

Note: Ports 8089 and 8188 are used for communications internal to the server, so you do not need a firewall rule to allow inbound traffic for these ports.

Ports for non-Laserfiche Services

Laserfiche products often need to communicate with other services. Make sure that Laserfiche products are able to communicate with these other services as needed. Default ports commonly used by other products include:

  • SQL Server's TCP 1433 port
  • Email servers often use ports 25 and 587
  • Microsoft Message Queuing Service uses Port 1801
