6550: Search error: Failed to initialize search.

The search query may contain invalid characters or syntax.

Try the following:

• Check your search query and attempt to perform the search again.
• When searching integer and long integer fields, you should make sure that the integer specified does not exceed the range of valid values. A field of type integer will only accept values from 0 to 64,999. A field of type long integer will only accept values from 0 to 3,999,999,999.
• When using the advanced search syntax to perform a folder specific search, you should make sure that the path specified exists.
• Network repository:  If the issue persists, then you should contact a Laserfiche administrator. Stop the Laserfiche Server. Follow the instructions below. You should then restart the Laserfiche Server.
• If the issue persists, then you should delete search index files (*.idx), which can be found in the Search folder of the Laserfiche repository. Reindex all of the documents in the repository.
