This error can occur if your client program is unable to communicate with the Laserfiche Server, and you may receive the following message:

Resolutions

By default, the Laserfiche Client and Server communicate over ports 80 or 5050, and port 5051. Ensure that these ports are open on all firewalls between the Laserfiche Client and the Laserfiche Server.

Ensure your local anti-virus software isn't recognizing Laserfiche software as a threat. If it is recognized as a threat, configure your anti-virus software to make an exception for Laserfiche software.
