9045: The Operation Cannot Complete Because an Object is Locked

Summary

When attempting to modify a repository object, you may receive the following error:

The operation cannot complete because an object is locked. [9045]

Causes

The object is being locked by another action, such as a workflow, that is currently running.

Resolutions

• Wait for the object to no longer be locked and try again.
• If the object is a document, use the Laserfiche Admin Console to unlock it.
• Restart the Laserfiche service and attempt the action again.
