Business Processes

  • Form Lookup Rules now support Web Request rules from both the form designer and classic form designer. Previously users had to use lookup tables and queries to integrate data with their forms, or they had to implement their own JavaScript to integrate with web APIs. Native access to web request rules in forms lets designers easily integrate 3rd party data sources using potentially complex APIs, including the Laserfiche API. These web request rules are now secured by Laserfiche and the underlying authentication credentials are not exposed to the user like they would be when executed through custom JavaScript.
  • Added the ability to select all process versions in the Task Load Business Process and Work in Progress reports.
  • Files uploaded as attachments to public drafts are no longer automatically deleted. (503361)

Account Administration

  • As part of service stability optimizations, account administrators can no longer choose to bulk email multiple users at the same time. The changes include:
    • The Verify email and Send password email options have been removed from the toolbar and right-click shortcut menu. Administrators can click on the "Verify" link in the email column to send a verification email to a user and users can verify their email from their profile page. Users can reset their password using the Forgot password option on the sign-in page.
    • The Import from CSV feature's Import Users dialog no longer includes the Send a password setup email and Send email verification options. Administrators can choose to include a password for users in the CSV file. Newly imported users can reset their password using the Forgot password option on the sign-in page. If so desired, administrators can also select the Force password change option on the new users after the import process.
    • When deleting an identity provider, the action will not send an email to affected users. Affected users can reset their password using the Forgot password option on the sign-in page.
    • The Force password change option now resets passwords without sending an email. Affected users can reset their password during the next sign-in attempt.

Laserfiche Outlook Add-in for Microsoft 365

  • The Laserfiche Outlook Add-in for Microsoft 365 now uses OAuth authentication to connect to Laserfiche. Existing accounts should automatically switch over to using OAuth without additional administrator configuration. Users signing in through the add-in may be prompted to grant consent for the add-in to access Laserfiche.
