What is Laserfiche Connector?
Laserfiche Connector lets you:
- Search the Laserfiche repository based on fields from third-party applications such as CRM and ERP systems. Both basic and advanced searching are supported. If only one result is found, the document will automatically open in the Laserfiche Windows client, the Laserfiche web client, or Laserfiche WebLink. Additionally, search results can be displayed in a window docked to the third-party application.
- Assign templates and field values to search results. The fields can be populated with data directly gathered from third-party applications.
- Launch Laserfiche Scanning and automatically populate metadata for the scanned documents with information from third-party applications.
- Import documents into the Laserfiche Windows client or Laserfiche web client and assign them paths, names, templates, and field values, all based on information in third-party applications.
- Pass information to and run a workflow. You can run the workflow either after a profile action completes or automatically on search results or an open document.
- Take a screenshot of a web page or application and save that image, with accompanying metadata, to a Laserfiche repository.
- Get information from one or more applications and insert (write) that information into another application.
- Connect multiple applications by allowing one of them to start the other (including the ability to pass parameters between them).
- Open a website directly from a third-party application.
- Choose to activate these actions from a command line, a keyboard shortcut, and/or an embedded, customizable button in the application.
