Installing the Laserfiche Migration Wizard

To install the Laserfiche Migration Wizard

  1. Open the installation package. A menu displaying Laserfiche installation options should appear. If it does not, run Autorun.exe from the root folder.
  2. Click Optional Installation Components....
  3. Click the Install Laserfiche 6 or 7 to 10 Migration Utility link. The Laserfiche Migration Utility installation will launch.

    Note: The Laserfiche 10 migration utility should be used even when migrating to Laserfiche 11. Once the migration is complete and the repository has been registered to a Laserfiche 11 Server, the Server will perform an in-place update to it. See Updating from Laserfiche 10 to Laserfiche 11 for more information.

  4. On the Welcome screen, click Next to continue.
  5. On the License Agreement step, read the license agreement. Accept it by selecting the I accept the terms in the License Agreement option. Click Next to continue.
  6. On the Ready to Install step, click Install to begin the installation process. The migration wizard will be installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Migration 10\."
