Installing the Laserfiche Migration Wizard
To install the Laserfiche Migration Wizard
- Open the installation package. A menu displaying Laserfiche installation options should appear. If it does not, run Autorun.exe from the root folder.
- Click Optional Installation Components....
- Click the Install Laserfiche 6 or 7 to 10 Migration Utility link. The Laserfiche
Migration Utility installation will launch.
Note: The Laserfiche 10 migration utility should be used even when migrating to Laserfiche 11. Once the migration is complete and the repository has been registered to a Laserfiche 11 Server, the Server will perform an in-place update to it. See Updating from Laserfiche 10 to Laserfiche 11 for more information.
- On the Welcome screen, click Next to continue.
- On the License Agreement step, read the license agreement. Accept it by selecting the I accept the terms in the License Agreement option. Click Next to continue.
- On the Ready to Install step, click Install to begin the installation process. The migration wizard will be installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Migration 10\."
