Repository Architecture Overview

The Laserfiche repository contains the actual data that will be accessed using Laserfiche: the page images, text files, and electronic files, as well as the database that stores the folder structure, metadata and security information, and the search index files. A Laserfiche repository has three main parts: the relational database, index files, and one or more volumes.
