Exporting Electronic Files

Electronic documents are associated with an electronic file. Electronic files can be exported from Laserfiche through an Export Electronic File dialog box, which can be accessed by clicking File from the menu bar, pointing to Export, and selecting Electronic Document. This dialog box permits the user to select a name and a destination for the electronic file to be exported.

Note: You do not need to specify the appropriate file name extension when exporting an electronic file. The appropriate extension will be automatically appended to the file name.
