Installing Web Import Services
The Laserfiche Web Import Services are a pair of ASP.NET Web API web services that interact with DocuSign, Laser App Enterprise, and Laser App Anywhere:
- DocuSign: Administrators can configure DocuSign Connect settings to publish information to the Laserfiche DocuSign import web service.
- Laser App: Laser App users can configure Laser App Enterprise and Laser App Anywhere to send forms to the Laserfiche Laser App import web service.
System Requirements
Below are the minimum and recommended system requirements for the DocuSign and Laser App web import services.
Minimum Requirements
- CPU: 2 GHz or faster processor
- Memory: 1 GB RAM
- Operating system: Windows Server 2008 with IIS 7, Windows 7 with IIS 7.5, Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5, Windows Server 2012 with IIS 8, Windows 8 with IIS 8
Recommended Requirements
- CPU: 2.8 GHz or faster processor
- Memory: 2 GB or more RAM
- Operating system: 64-bit server operating systems are preferred
Software Requirements
Below are the recommended software requirements the DocuSign and Laser App web import services.
Laserfiche Server
- The web import services support version 9.1 or later of the Laserfiche Server.
- The web import services are not compatible with standalone editions of Laserfiche (Executive, Desktop, etc.)

- IIS Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility

To install the Laserfiche Web Import Services
- On the Welcome to the Laserfiche Web Import Services Setup Wizard step, click Next.
- On the End-User License Agreement step, accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next to continue.
- On the Custom Setup step, select the web services you want to install and choose the installation location. Click Next to continue.
- On the Ready to Install step, click Install to begin the installation.
Firewall Considerations
Ensure that the Laser App web service is accessible to all appropriate workstations with Laser App Enterprise and that the DocuSign web service is accessible by the DocuSign website.
Both web services run under Default Web Site, which defaults to running over port 80 or port 443 for SSL.
In a production environment, the DocuSign Connect publisher only supports HTTPS/SSL over port 443.
