Workflow Licensing
Licensing
Modern editions of Laserfiche Workflow do not require a dedicated license. Subscription systems, as well as Laserfiche Rio and Laserfiche Avante, reference the Laserfiche Repository Server license for attached repositories for any feature checks. Users do not need a named user license to design or run workflows.
Workflow AI Activity Licensing
Workflow AI activities are available for subscription systems (excluding starter), which will include the AI feature on the Laserfiche Repository Server license.
AI activities include:
Legacy Systems
If you are using a Team or United Laserfiche Server, you will need a Workflow Server license that matches the serial in the Laserfiche Server license.
- One Workflow license allows for one Workflow Server installation.
- The Workflow Designer does not require it's own license and you may install the Workflow Designer on as many computers as you like.
- If you need to define a license for Workflow on these legacy systems, you will be prompted to do so when adding a repository for Workflow to monitor under Monitored Repositories in the Workflow Configuration Manager.
