Solution Marketplace

The Solution Marketplace provides a variety of pre-built solutions which let you quickly and easily automate your organization's processes. The marketplace houses over 120 templates that cover a broad range of topics, such as onboarding, invoicing, grant management, building maintenance, IT support, and more. Since more solutions are added to the marketplace all the time, often from members of the Laserfiche community, new templates cover timely topics such as return to work procedures and HEERF Student Aid. Additionally, there are solutions that cover design patterns and CSS and JavaScript examples that you can use when creating your own processes.

These templates are out-of-the-box solutions that contain business processes, Laserfiche briefcases, workflows and more. You can import templates directly into your own Laserfiche environment. Once imported, click through the built-out templates to configure them with your organization's specific details.

Configuring a Template

After you've imported a template, click through each imported item to customize it for your organization.

  • Forms: To configure an imported process template, in the process designer, open each activity in the process and configure it with information specific to your organization. Additionally, open the forms associated with the process from the left menu and edit them to meet your needs. Use the test button in the process designer to try out the process and see how it works.
  • Briefcases: To configure an imported briefcase (folder trees for your repository), navigate to where the folders were saved. For older templates, folder trees are imported into the Business Process Library folder on the root level of your repository. Rename, move, add, or delete folders as needed. Remember to update any business process or workflows that interact with the folders to ensure they're using the right path.
  • Workflows: To configure an imported workflow, open the workflow designer and click through each activity to configure it with information specific to your organization.
  • Other Items: To configure rules, capture profiles, or repository objects, navigate to the respective applications in Laserfiche and configure the items there.
