Delete Entry

Delete Entry activity

This activity deletes an entry in your Laserfiche repository. An entry can be a document or folder.

To set up this activity:

  1. Drag the activity from the toolbox pane and drop it in the Designer pane.
  2. In the properties pane, type a name and description of the activity.

  3. In the Connection Profile property box, select the repository you want the activity to use.
  4. In the Options property box, select additional deleting options.
    • Purge entry after deleting: Permanently deletes the entry from the Laserfiche repository, purging the entry from the Laserfiche recycle bin after the entry has been deleted. Note that purging an entry is irreversible.
    • Only delete empty folders: Only deletes folders that contain zero entries.
  5. In the Entry to Delete property box, select the entry you want to delete. Learn more about selecting an entry

You may want to disable activities if you only want to test specific sections of your workflow. To disable activities:

  1. Select an activity in the designer pane to highlight it.
  2. In the Description property box, clear Enable.
