Metadata

All documents and folders contain various metadata, including both user-created metadata such as fields, tags, links, and versions, and other information such as the document's name, location, creation and modification date, and so on. Metadata can be used to make documents easier to search for and work with, and can also be used to facilitate integrations.

In the web client, metadata can be viewed by selecting a document or folder in the folder browser, or by opening a document in the document viewer. In both cases, properties will be displayed on the right. Select the details tab to view the metadata.
