Laserfiche Cloud September 2024 Updates
The Laserfiche Cloud September 2024 update, released on September 5, 2024, includes the following new features.
Watch an overview of the new features here:
Document Summarization Enhancements
AI-generated summaries are now longer and include helpful formatting when the underlying source material is longer. Previously, summaries were at a uniform length, no matter the length of the document. This update provides additional context for users summarizing longer source material resulting in better understanding of what is contained inside the document for improved decision making. For example, a 50-page document will now have a longer summary than a 10-page document, and summaries will include paragraph breaks, headers, bullets, and other styling to improve readability.
Bulk User Management
Administrators can now enable, disable, and delete multiple users at once by importing a CSV file with user emails. After selecting the bulk action from the drop-down menu, a CSV template will be provided for download to help format the data. Additionally, a CSV can also be imported to enable or disable multifactor authentication for a group of users.
Lookup Table Command Line Utility
The new Lookup Table Command Line Utility lets users interact with the Lookup Table API directly from a local Windows or Linux command line interface. This tool simplifies data management in Lookup Tables in Laserfiche Cloud by providing an efficient way to list tables, retrieve and view data, and export or import data using flat files. It can also be integrated with automated schedulers to facilitate the automation of data management tasks. The utility is available at the developer center at developer.laserfiche.com.
The Lookup Table Command Line Utility requires access to the Laserfiche API and is available for download on the Laserfiche developer portal at developer.laserfiche.com or as a project on GitHub.
