Volume Management

As a system administrator, you may want to review volume statistics, see which processes are using a specific volume, and adjust volume-level access for specific users or groups.

The Volume Management tab in Forms Administration provides administrators with an overview of volume usage, the ability to view specific volume details, and to review, edit, and assign access rights for users and groups to volumes that have been configured as storage locations.

To view statistics for all configured volumes

  1. Open Administration.
  2. Navigate to the Volume Management tab.
  3. The list of volumes will be displayed with relevant statistics.
  4. Click the volume name in the list to view volume specific information.

To view detailed process statistics for a specific volume

The Processes tab contains a list of processes that use this volume for attachment storage, the disk spage used for the files, the number of files, and migration status if applicable. An Options link will open the Design: Process Options page for the selected process.

To review, edit, and assign volume-level access rights

The Access Rights tab allows you to assign specific users or groups access to the volume. Begin typing a user or group name in the field to search, and once selected click Add to provide that user or group access to the volume.

Once the user or group has been added, they will appear in the list.

To remove access to the volume for a user or group, click the delete icon to the right of the Type in the list for that user or group.
