Adding Users, Groups and Windows Accounts
In a new repository, the following users will automatically be created:
- The ADMIN user: The ADMIN user is automatically granted special rights, to enable an administrator to perform initial repository configuration. The ADMIN user is an ordinary user, and, after repository creation, can be deleted, modified, or renamed. You can also modify the security settings granted to the ADMIN user in any way you like.
- The EVERYONE group. The EVERYONE group is a Windows Domain group that contains every user in the repository, both Laserfiche users and Windows Accounts users. The EVERYONE group starts with certain limited rights, and those rights can be changed in any way that you like after repository creation. However, the EVERYONE group cannot be renamed or deleted, nor can any users be removed from it.
Note: These settings only apply to a fresh repository with no contents. Existing repositories and migrated repositories will retain their original security.
