Annotation Display Order
If more than one annotation is placed in the same part of a document image, some annotations may cover or obscure other annotations. By default, more recently-created annotations will be displayed on top of older annotations. However, you can manually adjust the annotation display order using the Bring to Front and Send to Back commands.
- Bring to Front:This command will make the annotation become the topmost annotation on the page; all other annotations in the same region will be displayed behind it. (Depending on the size and opacity of the topmost annotation, the other annotations may be completely obscured.)
- Send to Back: This command will make the annotation become the bottom-most annotation on the page.
If an annotation is completely obscured by another annotation, you can use these commands to reveal it. You can also use this command to alter a document's visual display. For instance, you might have both a highlight and a polygon placed on an image such that they are overlapping. You can determine which annotation is the more visually prominent using annotation display order.
Note: Redactions are always at the back, and their display order cannot be changed.
To adjust an annotation's display order
- Right-click the annotation.
- Select Bring to Front or Send to Back.
