Adding and Removing Buttons from the Toolbar
The quickest way to add or remove a common toolbar buttons from the toolbar in the folder browser or document viewer, is to follow the steps below.
To add or remove common toolbar buttons

- Navigate to the document viewer or folder browser, depending on which toolbar you want to add or remove buttons from.
- Do one of the following:
- Click the
blue down arrow to the right of your existing toolbar buttons.
- Point to Add or Remove Buttons.
- Point to the name of the toolbar you are editing. (The default toolbar is called Toolbar.)
- A
list of toolbar buttons will appear. Buttons with checkmarks next to them are shown on the toolbar. Click to add checkmarks next to toolbar buttons you want to show. Click an existing checkmark to clear it and remove the button from the toolbar. Changes you make only apply to the user you are logged in as.
Tip: You can also choose Reset Toolbar to return the default buttons to the toolbar and place the buttons in their original positions.

- Navigate to the document viewer or folder browser, depending on which toolbar you want to add or remove buttons from.
- Click the
blue down arrow to the right of your existing toolbar buttons.
- Point to Add or Remove Buttons.
- Point to the name of the toolbar you are editing. (The default toolbar is called Toolbar.)
- A
list of toolbar buttons will appear. Buttons with checkmarks next to them are shown on the toolbar. Click to add checkmarks next to toolbar buttons you want to show. Click an existing checkmark to clear it and remove the button from the toolbar. Changes you make only apply to the user you are logged in as.
Tip: You can also choose Reset Toolbar to return the default buttons to the toolbar and place the buttons in their original positions.
To add or remove toolbar buttons that are not found in the Add/Remove list
Not all available buttons are listed in the Add or Remove Buttons list, only the most common buttons. You can add or remove less common buttons from the Commands tab of the Customize dialog box.

- Navigate to the document viewer or folder browser, depending on which toolbar you want to add or remove buttons from.
- Open the Customize dialog box either from the Toolbars node of the Options dialog box or by right-clicking a toolbar and selecting Customize.
- The Customize dialog box will open.
- Optional: From the
Toolbars tab, create custom buttons by clicking Custom to open the
Customize Toolbar Buttons dialog box. Learn more.
- Open the Commands tab. In this tab, the available toolbar buttons and menu items are organized by category. Select the category that contains the button you want to add.
Tip: The All Commands category lists all available toolbar buttons except for custom buttons which are included in the Custom category. The Custom category is included at the bottom of this list only if custom buttons exist.
- Select the button you want to add and drag it out of the dialog box to the desired location in the toolbar.
- With the Customize dialog box still open, drag any toolbar buttons you want to remove from the toolbar off the toolbar. Or, right-click the buttons and select Delete.
- Click Close.

- Navigate to the document viewer or folder browser, depending on which toolbar you want to add or remove buttons from.
- Open the Customize dialog box either from the Toolbars node of the Options dialog box or by right-clicking a toolbar and selecting Customize.
- Select the Commands tab.
- In the Commands tab, the available toolbar buttons and menu items are organized by category. Select the category that contains the button you want to add.
