Connections
Within the Quick Fields Agent Web Administration Console, you can create connections to the Quick Fields Agent Server. Once you have created a connection, the name of the connected computer will appear in the left pane of the Quick Fields Web Administration Console. You can then modify the schedules and settings and view the history of schedules run through that connection.
Registering the Quick Fields Agent Server
The first step in administering a Quick Fields Agent Server is registering it in the Laserfiche Web Administration Console. Once a Quick Fields Agent Server is registered, you will be able to access and manage it.
Note: If you have more than one Quick Fields Agent license, you can connect to more than one installation of the Quick Fields Agent Server from one Quick Fields Agent Web Administration Console.
To register a Quick Fields Agent Server
- In the left pane, click Register.
- In the Register Quick Fields Agent dialog box, specify the server you want to connect to. You can also specify a port.
- Click OK.
The name of the server you have connected to will appear in the main Contents pane. If you click it, you will see its schedules (if any have been configured).
You can view a list of registered servers by clicking Quick Fields Agent Servers at the top of the page next to Laserfiche Servers. Click Refresh to refresh the list.
Unregistering the Quick Fields Agent Server
To unregister the Quick Fields Agent Server, do one of the following:
- In the left pane, click the drop-down arrow next to the server name and select Unregister.
- Click Settings to the right of the server name inside the Contents pane, then click Unregister Server.
