Laserfiche Cloud July 2026 Updates
The Laserfiche Cloud July 2026 release includes Smart Chat and Laserfiche AI Agent context improvements, the Laserfiche Forms mobile app for Android, and expanded Repository API V2 capabilities.
Smart Chat and Laserfiche AI Agent Context Updates
Smart Chat and Laserfiche AI Agents now make it easier to use the right repository content when asking questions or performing actions. When no entries are selected, Smart Chat and AI Agents can use the contents of your current repository view as context, including folders, search results, personal collections, and default collections such as Recent Documents.
You still control the scope of each interaction. To focus on a smaller set of content, select the specific documents, folders, or collections you want to include. Selected entries take precedence over the current view, so Smart Chat and AI Agents use only the selected sources.
A new selected sources badge shows which repository content is currently in scope. The badge can display selected folders, documents, or personal collections, or show a count of the entries in the current view when nothing is selected. This makes it easier to confirm which sources Smart Chat can reference and which entries AI Agents may act on before submitting a request.
Laserfiche Forms Mobile App for Android
The Laserfiche Forms mobile app is now on Android, making the redesigned mobile experience available to both iOS and Android users.
With the app, users can securely manage tasks and complete digital forms from anywhere. Users can view assigned tasks, update details such as due dates and priority, reassign tasks to another user or team, and complete tasks directly from the app.
Users can also launch, complete, and submit forms on the go with a mobile-friendly experience that supports image attachments from their device. To download the app, search for Laserfiche Forms in the App Store or on Google Play.
Repository API V2 Updates
The Laserfiche API includes new Repository API V2 capabilities that give repository administrators more ways to configure repositories and retrieve document information. Administrators can now manage repository fields, list values, templates, and template field layout.
This update also adds document size and folder child-count details to support storage reporting.
