Auditing

Auditing enables you to track activities performed across Laserfiche, including both repository activity and Process Automation activity. The tracked information is used to generate reports that support compliance, security, and operational visibility.

Audit data can be viewed, filtered, and exported in Audit Reports. You can analyze activity, visualize trends, and share audit data as needed.

Repository auditing

Repository auditing provides detailed control over how repository events are logged. You can configure auditing by user or group, audit successful and failed actions, and require users to provide reasons for specific actions.

Repository auditing must be configured in Repository Administration.

Process Automation auditing

Process Automation events, such as project and team activity, are automatically audited and do not require configuration. These events are available when running audit reports using the General source.

Audit reporting is performed in Audit Reports.

Laserfiche Cloud offers multiple tiers with different auditing capabilities:

  • Starter: Allows configuration of repository audit events for all users.
  • Professional: Includes Starter features, with the option to upgrade to Advanced Audit Trail.
  • Business: Includes Advanced Audit Trail, providing more granular control over repository audit configuration.
