Image Display
One way to quickly view the content of a page is to set the display of the page image so that it conforms to the width, height, or both height and width of the Image Pane.
- Fit Width: Image displayed using entire width of the Image Pane; image size adjusts when the size of the Image Pane is altered
- Fit Height: Image displayed using entire height of the Image Pane; image size adjusts when the size of the Image Pane is altered
- Fit Window: Fits the image to both width and height of the Image Pane, eliminating the need to scroll to view the image
You can set these viewing preferences by going to the View menu, pointing to Zoom, and selecting Fit Width, Fit Height, or Fit Window.
Note: The Fit Window option does not mean the proportions of the image will be distorted to make the image fit perfectly in the Image Pane. Instead, it will shrink the image until the entire image can be viewed, which may result in unused space.
Viewing a Percentage of an Image
When viewing an image, you can choose to scale it to a particular percentage.
To choose a magnification scale
- From the View menu, point to Zoom and select the desired percentage (i.e., 25%, 50%, 75%, etc.) to which the image will be scaled.
