Image Pane

The Image Pane, displaying the image of the document, is placed in the primary area of the document viewer by default. The Image Pane allows you to view and manage the image pages of your document, as well as annotations. Learn more about annotations.

Note: If you view the Image Pane from within the Preview Pane in the folder browser, the pane will be read-only. It is editable when opened from the document viewer.

Working with Images

The Image Pane will display the image associated with the currently-selected page. One of the primary ways to work with an image is through the cursor. To learn more about cursor modes, see Working with the Cursor. Regardless of your current cursor mode, you can scroll, rotate, or zoom in/out of the image at any time.

You can move around the page using the Panning tool. In the Laserfiche Windows client, you can also move around a page by scrolling up and down, or by holding down SHIFT and scrolling to scroll right or left.

You can also configure options for page navigation. You can choose a default zoom level, and determine whether to reset the zoom feature when changing pages or keep the current zoom, current position, or both. In the Laserfiche Windows client, you can also determine whether scrolling with the scroll wheel or arrow keys will change to the next page when you reach the bottom and the previous page when you reach the top.
